Our 2020 Red Blend won gold in the Concurso de Vinos (Mendoza)!

We won our first gold medal at the Concurso Nacional de Vinos in Argentina. Here's what that means:

Regarding the Guarda 14 competition, this was the second edition of the contest at the national level. It is a very important competition organized by a significant newspaper in Argentina, Diario de los Andes, based in Mendoza. Mendoza is the heart of Argentina's wine world, home to the majority of wineries, making this competition particularly notable.

We presented three samples: the Familia Morgan Red Blend Reserva 2020, which won the gold medal, and the Familia Morgan Reserva Malbec 2020, which won the silver medal. The competition features an excellent jury composed of highly recognized figures in the world of oenology, including many sommeliers and winemakers, all professionals from the wine industry.

This is why the scoring is so important, as it is very objective. Receiving a good rating in this environment means the quality of the product is very high. The competition will be held again in October. I received the invitation yesterday, and we are already registered. We will be organizing this with Gastón and will send samples for the 2024 competition
