Rehoboam

Rehoboam wine bottle meaning

A Rehoboam is the name the Comité Champagne gives its 4.5-liter bottle, a nominal volume equal to six 750 mL bottles.

The term belongs to a Champagne-specific naming sequence; it is not a worldwide legal definition for every wine package. Current U.S. TTB guidance permits wine containers from 4 through 17 liters in whole-liter quantities, so a traditional 4.5 L French format is not automatically a current U.S. standard of fill. Market and import availability depend on the applicable rules.

Use the declared volume for inventory and the wine bottle sizes chart for comparisons and regional naming caveats.
